Cable Puller - Nights

Empire Communications is currently looking to add an experienced cable puller to our night team. This will be a self-employed position through the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).

In your role you will be responsible for:

• Rod and roping long distances
• Cable pulling
• Working with the broader engineering communities to connect residential and business customers
• Following health & safety practices

You will have the following qualifications and be able to prove experience and competence:

• Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 points on your licence in the last 5 years.
• Hold valid NRSWA
• Valid sa002 is not required but is a bonus
• Experience with TRR and cable pulling
• Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices.
• Be comfortable working outside in all weather
• Be comfortable working underground when required
• Live within a 10-15 mile radius of Watford
