Skilled Sewing Machinist

The Role

We are looking for a Skilled Machinist to join our friendly team at our Industrial Laundry site based in Grangemouth.

You will be responsible for carrying out the repairs of garments for the emergency services.

This role will also involve supporting the Production Operative Team with folding and hanging garments.

Skills & Quality Required

• Be practical and good at working with their hands.
• Work quickly and methodically to agreed targets.
• Accuracy and an eye for detail.
• Confident working with machinery and have excellent knowledge of the processes used.
• To make sure the equipment used is maintained in clean good working order. Any damages or malfunction to be reported to the manager.
• Good concentration skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and occasionally to tight deadlines.
• To record alterations and update product quantity.
• Work well within a team, and on their own.

Hours

Hourly rate: £10.42 per hour

• 38 Hours per week between Monday to Friday
• 07:30am - 17:30PM

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
