The job itself

Due to internal progression, retirement and expanding workload there is a great opportunity to join the East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s vehicle maintenance department in a challenging varied fulfilling role making each day interesting. Fleet Services are an integral part of an award winning and successful council, we are looking to expand through recruiting several highly skilled experienced vehicle technicians on various shift patterns at our three vehicle maintenance depots.

This will enable us to keep up with the demands of maintaining the council’s diverse, varied and expanding fleet.

Applicants must have experience of working within a vehicle maintenance workshop, duties include pre planned maintenance, mot testing, tachograph calibrations (Training provided) and LOLER calibrations (Training provided). Applicants must have experience in diagnosing and repairing anything from LGV’s to plant equipment.

5 Day Shift - Monday - Friday 06.00am to 14.00pm / 14.00pm - 22.00pm. Alternating Weeks.

4 Day Shift - Tuesday - Friday 11.00am to 21.00pm / Wednesday - Saturday 06.00am - 16.00pm. Alternating Weeks.
