The global Commercial & Connectivity IT function has end-to-end accountability for the strategic roadmap, design, delivery, and support of Commercial business applications, enabling Dysons global Direct, Owner and Connected business processes. About the role

Reporting to the Business Analyst Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of information systems and enhancements in line with business needs.

Acting as an internal consultant to the business you’ll be supporting the analysis activity to elicit requirements and inform business decisions, including facilitating the requirements gathering process, producing business models and process maps, analysing and reviewing both system and business documentation and assisting in the development of business cases.

You will work with the technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions that can be implemented, ensuring business objectives and the value of the technical solutions are clear and well understood. You will provide guidance on the solutions including reviewing specifications for change and supporting the technical teams and the implementation lifecycle where required.

You will articulate and propose opportunities for improvements in business processes and existing solutions and provide quality assurance on all supporting documentation. You will stay abreast with the latest technology changes, assessing their impact and potential value/risk to the business.

(preferred) or split between Bristol and our state-of-the-art technology campus in Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

About you

We would love to talk to you if you are an experienced Business Analyst who has previously worked on IT projects with cross functional teams. You’ll be skilled at performing the core business analysis activities in a variety of complex situations and you’ll be comfortable working in Agile / Scrum framework environments.

Other key requirements include:

  • Self-motivated, dynamic and results-driven with an exceptional attention to detail

  • Confidence in creating communicative, trusted and collaborative relationships with stakeholders

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to challenge and influence where required

  • Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach things from different perspectives and produce options

  • Quick learner, adaptable with natural ability to thrive in complex and ambiguous situations

  • Ability to deliver under pressure

  • Experience of Commercial projects and an understanding of the full CRM lifecycle

  • Hands-on experience and product knowledge of the Salesforce Service Cloud platform

  • Comfortable dealing with external suppliers and implementation partners
