Field Service Engineer
Location: Stevenage / North London / Milton Keynes
The company is a manufacturer of instruments for life science research and clinical applications. Their products are used in Flow Cytometry, Cell Sorting, High Content Screening, Microscopy, and Cell Separation. Their products are used by scientists across the world in hospitals, universities, academic research institutes and pharmaceutical companies. Due to company growth, they now have an opportunity to join their team as a Field Service Engineer for the Stevenage / North London area.
The Role:
You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, repairs and upgrades up instruments and equipment.
Supporting on a range of instruments; flow cytometers, cell sorters, high content imaging, microscopes, and automated cell separation systems.
Working with a range of customers in hospitals, universities, academic research institutes and pharmaceutical companies
The position is home office based in the Stevenage, North London, Cambridge, Milton Keynes area, with average 4 days on the customer site.
Working closely with the service and support team in Europe.
The Requirements:
BS in a scientific or engineering field; Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Optics / Photonics, Biotechnology; or related field.
Field Service Engineering experience working on equipment with mechanical, electrical, fluidics and/or optics components.
Ability to work independently, with natural talent and interest to troubleshoot and solve problems.
Drivers license.
