YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The purpose of this role as the Microbiologist at Dr. Oetker, is to carry out a wide range of microbiological tests on raw materials, finished products and environmental samples.

• To provide technical and administrative support to ensure the business meets food safety, quality and regulatory requirements. To include but not limited to:
• Assessing product quality and adherence to specifications by in-house Microbiological analysis.
• Responsiblilty for the set up and maintenance of key databases that will allow for trending and analysis.
• Recording results onto SAP QM system in a timely and accurate manner.
• Analysing data and interpreting results.
• Sampling and analysing Environmental samples for hygiene monitoring.
• Maintaining calibration and record keeping of relevant lab equipment.
• Organising for external analysis of products according to the test plan.
• Stock rotation and stock ordering.
• Supporting additional tasks to deliver safe and legal products of the quality our customers expect.
