Apprentice BSc (Hons) Laboratory Scientist Biology

• Carry out a wide range of technical and scientific activities in your specialist discipline.
• Analyse, interpret and evaluate relevant scientific information, concepts and ideas and use these to develop subsequent experiments or investigations.
• Propose solutions to problems encountered during the scientific analysis.
• Identify areas for improvement and propose innovative scientific ideas and solutions.
• Work with a wide variety of instrumentation throughout the apprenticeship.

Personal Spec:

• A good understanding of the related drug discovery disciplines necessary to support drug discovery

programs, such as chemistry and / or biology.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Required qualifications (if different from ARU minimum, for X this is 112 UCAS Tariff points (BBC at A level or equivalent) preferably in Biology or Chemistry and 5 GCSEs at C/5 or above including English and Maths:
