Retail Assistant

Dog & field has established itself as one of the UK and Europe’s largest Gundog Training Equipment and Working Dog Food manufacturers, retailers, and distributors. We run a predominantly online retail operation supply directly to our customers, re-sellers and stockists.

Founded in 2014, Dog & Field has family roots firmly set in rural Northamptonshire along with a history of three generations working with dogs, it was a natural progression for this small, local, family business to take its knowledge and passion to new heights.

This is a permanent Full-time position working Mon-Friday 9am-4pm. 35 hours per week

Your Salary:

£10 - £11 per hour 35 Hours per week

You will have the option to opt in or out of our work-place pension scheme (NEST)

The Role

You will be working under the management of our Retail Manager.

You will be part of a team involved in processing customer orders, dealing with overseas shipments and being point of sales contact. You will be involved in inventory control, stock management and assisting in dealing with brand stockist, ambassadors, and associates.

You will be required to attend at least one trade show throughout the year and assist the sales team on site.

Training will be given in all aspects of the business, and you may be required to deal with telephone sales and enquires as well as walk in customers to our on-site shop.
