Position Overview & Specifications
As a video editor intern, you will work closely with our creative team to produce high-quality video content that informs, educates, and entertains our audience.
What you will do
- Assisting with video editing, including cutting, splicing, and sequencing footage to create compelling stories.
- Collaborating with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects.
- Selecting and adding music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the visual storytelling.
- Participating in video shoots and contributing ideas to improve the final product.
- Ensuring all video content is consistent with our brand guidelines and messaging.
- Staying up-to-date with current trends and best practices in video editing and storytelling.
Requirements
- Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of video production techniques, including lighting, audio, and camera equipment.
- Creative mindset and a passion for storytelling through video.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.
- Experience with motion graphics, animation, and/or visual effects is a plus.
- Pursuing a degree in film, video production, or a related field is preferred.
