Class 2 Delivery Driver

Pay Rate: £31,000 - £33,150 DOE
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 5 days on, 3 days off working 6am-finish
Location: Wakefield (WF2 0XF)

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class 2 Delivery Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will

• Manage the daily transportation and distribution of volume goods from site to stakeholder location, handling the loading and unloading of goods.
• Supporting local Multi -Stop Delivery Routes, carrying out between 8-11 drops per day.
• Drivers will be expected to conduct daily vehicle checks, acting on and reporting any maintenance issues accordingly and ensuring all loads achieve the correct compliance regulations, whilst maintaining and completing records in a timely manner.
• Manual handling to load/unload cages of both ambient and frozen goods.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Practical experience as a Class 2 delivery driver within a similar role.
• Must have at least 1 years recent experience within a Class 2 role
• You will Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
