We have opportunities for a Caretaker to join our company at our Wellingborough site. We work to the highest standards and the Caretaker is a critical part of supporting the production areas.
This is a day shift, working Monday to Friday. Core hours are 8am to 4:30pm. We offer competitive rates of pay, company pension, 23 days holiday plus the bank holidays, private healthcare and the opportunity for overtime during peak periods.
Purpose of the job:
The purpose of the role is to support the Operations Manager in the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the; site, facility and production equipment in line with company policies and rotas, ensuring all is kept clean, tidy and in working order.
Key Responsibilities:
General site maintenance.- Cleaning floors throughout the site.
- Gardening.
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly equipment checks.
- Minor equipment maintenance.
- Waste control and collection across the site.
- Assisting with deliveries/collections if required.
SKILLS:
Working to rotas and procedures.- Experience in Construction/DIY/Mechanical environments.
- Self-starter and able to manage own workload.
- Valid driving license.
- Forklift license (not essential but an advantage).
