Job Title: Consultant
Location: Rotating between Kyiv and wider Ukraine, and home base (likely UK but flexible) with requirement to spent part of time on home rotations in Crisis24 London Bridge office.

Reporting to: Associate Director (UK/Europe) with deployed reporting to Associate Director Central/Eastern Europe

Crisis24 has been operating in and around Ukraine since January 2022, supporting clients’ personnel and operations throughout the war. GardaWorld also has significant operations in country, run out of an operating base in Kyiv. As a result of the ongoing situation and increased demand for our services, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join Crisis24’s Crisis & Security Consulting (CSC) team. We are looking for a number of highly organised and experienced security risk management practitioners to rotate between Ukraine and home (likely UK but flexible) to:
- Support the operational delivery of our client services in Ukraine, as well as the growth of our team and practice in Central and Eastern Europe.
- Support the wider UK/Europe risk and crisis management consulting team whilst back on home rotations
Operational support to clients in Ukraine
Support the delivery of client services in Ukraine, including (but not limited to):
- client liaison and management
- management of third-party vendors and ground services
- administration of the Crisis24 Safe Havens (ensuring supplies and equipment in place), and
- responding to client employee requests for safe house use and other ad hoc support
- Delivery of training and briefings both in-person and virtually
- Conduct local area research and delivery of analysis on observations
- Deploy to client offices throughout UK & Europe and/or other overseas locations to deliver CSC’s pre-incident consulting services
- Delivery and management of SRM, CM and BCM consulting services (such as risk assessments, policy/plan development, incident and crisis management planning and other projects)
- Produce all relevant documentation in support of assigned pre-incident consulting services delivery; responsible for the quality and standards of such documentation in line with CSC’s best practice doctrine and methodology
- Project management of live security risk and crisis management consulting projects and coordination of deployments including administration of other staff and/or third-party consultants on projects
- Support the generation of new security and crisis management consultancy opportunities both in Ukraine and in the wider UK & Europe region, in support of CSC’s new business targets
- Identify opportunities to promote and enhance CSC’s security and crisis management consulting initiatives
- Scope, price, manage and/or oversee the development of RFPs and client proposals
- Represent CSC, Crisis24 and Garda in client pitches, presentations and meetings
- Identify opportunities to introduce the wider GardaWorld services into clients
- Client liaison and account/client relationship management of new and existing consulting clients
- Support the development of more junior team members and work in cooperation with the wider global consulting team on all aspects of consulting services delivery
- Maintain and/or oversee accurate accounting records for key clients allocated
- Keep Salesforce and any other platforms used by Crisis24 up to date and accurate in relation to relevant accounts and proposals
- Support the wider Crisis24 and Garda business as required
- Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Very well organised

- Flexibility and motivation to work irregular hours and deploy (domestically and overseas) on tasks (often at short notice)
- Invested in development: maintains a high level of industry knowledge and awareness of geopolitical and security/crisis management issues and trends
- Minimum 5 years' relevant previous experience in a security, intelligence, risk or crisis management environment, working in an operational and/or consulting role
- Strong working knowledge of Security Risk and Crisis Management / Business Continuity Management – Best Practice and Industry Standards
- Demonstrable commercial experience developing new business opportunities
- Extensive travel experience globally including in high threat / hostile environments
- Prior experience in region an advantage
- Competence skills with office-based software; MSOffice
- Ideally at least one relevant security risk management qualification (CSMP, CPP, PSP or other)
- Relevant European languages an advantage
