Hours of work: 40 hours per week

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join the team at Ebbw Vale. We are looking for an individual with a can-do attitude who enjoys delivering great service and thrives on meeting targets.

Role Responsibility
Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Completing daily vehicle safety checks, safe loading/securing load of vehicle, report maintenance defects, adhere to company driving standards.
• Lift materials and load vehicles, always adopting safe lifting and handling procedures.
• Ensure that the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times for example protective boots, high visibility jackets, helmets and gloves.
• Completing delivery paperwork.
• Coordinating offload, ensuring items are delivered to the correct site.

Skills Required

• Must be experienced driving HGV vehicles: 1 year
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management.

Required license or certification:

HGV Class 1
