Student Counsellor

This is a Part Time post of 0.6FTE

CU Scarborough are seeking to recruit a Student Counsellor to provide short term focused counselling and signposting to appropriate external support agencies including NHS and voluntary organisations.

You will be professionally qualified, a fully accredited member of BACP or registered by another appropriate professional body. You will have relevant experience of providing Counselling, group work and workshops in a similar organisational setting.

Applicants must be qualified to postgraduate/diploma level in counselling or psychotherapy and have substantial relevant post-qualification experience. The post is subject to an enhanced disclosure under Disclosure and Barring Service.

Multi-disciplinary team working and the ability to manage your own caseload are essential. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate an innovative and creative therapeutic approach with the flexibility to meet this increasing demand in a team focused manner.
