£38,000 - £45,000 per annum (Permanent)

A highly successful mid-sized Architectural practice requires a Senior Urban Designer with experience in the Residential sector to join their team in Essex.

This award-winning company have forged an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality projects from inception through to completion from small high-end residential developments through to large multi-unit schemes for housing developers.

After securing numerous new and exciting project instructions, this company have acquired a packed pipeline of work that puts them in a great position to grow. Serious expansion of the business is now on the cards and as such, a highly adept Senior Urban Designer is required to become an important part of the company's future.

The Senior Urban Designer will join a team that is currently focussing on planning applications for big-name house developer clients, however the expansion of the company will see them provide multiple consultancy services across a range of sectors in the future.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of delivering residential schemes for national housebuilders - either working directly for them or in private practice. Demonstrable ability to design housing layouts from scratch, using standard or bespoke house types along with the competence to manage a team delivering multi-unit projects will be highly sought after.

Other Senior Urban Designer Requirements:

• Project Management skills to lead a design team
• Extensive experience of master planning, feasibility and planning work on multi-unit Residential projects
• Good organisation, communication and management skills
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Photoshop & InDesign
• Revit ability would be highly desirable
