Position Overview & Specifications
Available shift patterns:
- Saturday and Sunday
- 07:00 - 15:00
- 15:00 - 19:00
- 19:00 - 23:00
- £11.50 - £11.91 Bank holiday pay £16.00 per hour.
- Rate of pay increases upon proof of NVQ qualifications in Health and Social care.
Travel time and mileage paid.
Our company:
- Supporting our clients with all aspects of personal care including washing, bathing, and toileting.
- Administering medication in a way appropriate for the client.
- Preparing meals for clients where necessary.
- Providing support with shopping and light domestic tasks.
- Providing companionship to all clients.
- More complex care is required with some clients e.g. cough assistant and peg feeding, however full training is given.
- Be honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Have good listening and communication skills.
- Have empathy for service users’ situations.
- Be committed to working as part of a team.
- Be physically fit and in good health.
- Be happy to work in a diverse multi-cultural society.
- Be aware of the varied needs of people in the community.
- Be reliable - this is essential as people’s lives are affected by our service.
- Be willing to do mandatory training and updates as required.
