Position Overview & Specifications

We are looking for a digital-savvy, enthusiastic and creative person. Need not carry a prior experience in the field but should have the interest to learn and run exciting campaigns. The person should also have an understanding of how various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.) function. Exceptional communication both written and verbal is a must.

We are looking for candidates who are based out of Edinburgh.

Job responsibilities (but not limited to):

1. Assist in building a social media strategy– help create a plan for social media marketing that is Simple, Measurable, Achievable, Rational and Time-bound (SMART) and should aim at achieving the overall goals of marketing and the business

2. Grow followers and build a brand online: Be responsible for the increase in audience and followers, conversions in the form of link clicks, message clicks, engagement and so on

3. Assist in building a social content calendar and creating content for posts and campaigns. Managing posts through HubSpot, etc

4. Connect with social media influencers to leverage the power of word-of-mouth marketing on social media and steer their followers towards our product through paid and non-paid collaborations

5. Social media content creation - Creating lip-snacking and interesting content in form of videos, reels, carousels, static posts, etc.

6. Assist in building thought leadership content- Create content that will help set Coastr’s thought leadership position and inform potential stakeholders about emerging trends and technologies

7. Support in automating social media processes – Assist in employing social media automation tools to automate processes such as content publishing, scheduling, analytics, report creation, trend analysis, competitor analysis, and social listening

8. Manage social media tools – support the social media manager to be accountable for all social media management, social media automation, content creation, social listening, ads manager, and analytics. This includes their assessment, credential management, billing and subscription, user management, performance analysis, and ROI measurement

9. Reporting on social media - includes measuring the performance of content, targeting, resources, tools, campaigns, ads and channels. Making recommendations based on this data about necessary modifications required to the social media strategy

10. Trend Analysis - tracking trends on social media based on domains and industries related to content, strategies, layouts, designs, hashtags, engagement and platforms. They also need to keep brand content up to date with the latest trend in your industry, sharing, news, analysis, reports, surveys results and so on that the audience will find informative

11. Competitor Analysis – conduct competitor analysis and update Coast's strategy to avoid similar mistakes. Understand competitors’ engaging audience to build personas, understand audience behaviour and targeting and strategise social media marketing activities accordingly

12. Interact with followers on social media and do all tasks that help to engage with followers

13. Any other responsibilities related to the fulfilment of the Digital Marketing strategy execution
