We are collaborating with our client to find Children and Young People’s Support Workers to work on a casual basis supporting disabled children with various needs in a short break setting.
The rate of pay is £14.15 to £16.98 per hour, various shifts available.
Other benefits include online timesheets with weekly pay, holiday pay, pension, monthly team meeting, casual dress and online tarining provided.
What to expect:
- Provide sensitive and flexible support.
- Follow and contribute to individual and service care plans, risk assessments and policies.
- Keep accurate and timely records, respecting and maintaining customers’ privacy and confidentiality.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customer and carers and liaise with other professionals in emergency situations.
- Work on your own initiative, as well as part of a larger team.
- Encourage children and young people to engage in the community
- Work with children and young people to help them develop no matter what their needs
- Work proactively and supportively with young peoples' families
You will need to:
- Have the right to work in the United Kingdom
- Have a children’s DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake one
