Lecturer – Bricklaying
Permanent | £24,286 - £34,357 plus £5,000 market forces uplift
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and highly motivated individual to join the College as a lecturer.
You will be responsible for the teaching and assessment of our full-time bricklaying students and bricklaying apprentices, providing them with an engaging quality experience on their programme.
You must have:
· Industry Experience.
· Preferably a teaching qualification for the FE sector or willing to study towards.
· A good track record in teaching, learning and assessment.
· Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Your main responsibilities:
· Deliver academic curricula to students taking account of other inputs from the teaching team, using appropriate teaching techniques to ensure high standards and low student turnover.
· Prepare teaching materials and practical exercises in line with the syllabus and in conjunction with others, and assist in the section's development of programmes.
