Company Description


Chubb now has an opportunity for a Fire Risk Assessment Leader. The main goal of this role is to create and maintain quality procedures in order to pave the way to achieving and maintaining SP205 accreditation. To ensure that the department maintains an excellent reputation for quality delivery, to the end user.

This role is home based, however, travel throughout the UK will be required.


Job Description


What will I be doing as a Fire Risk Assessment Leader?

  • Create and maintain quality procedures in order to pave the way to achieving and maintaining SP205 accreditation.
  • Recruit Risk assessors and validate capabilities.
  • Mentor new Risk assessors in the field, to ensure that all competencies are reached, in order to fulfill the FRA role.
  • Review and maintain related Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) documentation and web-based content.
  • Provide technical FRA support to the whole team
  • Action customer queries in relation to technical aspects
  • Manage the competency matrix for assessors in relation to qualifications and ability
  • Technical validating of FRA reports and calculation checks on occupancy reports
  • Provide support & guidance to the wider team of assessors.
  • Build strong, credible relationships both with internal & external customers in person and via media/telephone

Qualifications


To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold accreditations with IFE or IFSM
  • Have previous extensive experience in completing Fire Risk Assessments
  • Be up to date with fire legislation
  • Previous experience of recruiting and interviewing
  • Have proven experience in administration tasks
  • Able to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Possess excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Be used to working on own initiative and within a team environment
  • Hold a current UK driving licence
