Support Worker (Children's home) – Night shifts
Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and young people? We are in search of a residential children's support worker to join our Children's Home in Northampton.
You will be working with a friendly and close-knit team who have lots of experience providing support and care to children and young people who are vulnerable in society.
You will have the opportunity to complete training and further develop your career. You will need to have experience working with children and young people, working in a team and have knowledge / experience of Ofsted standards.
We would prefer if you have at least two years experience in this field but we welcome applications from others who have less experience combined with a suitable qualification.
Qualifications at Level 2 Health and Social Care / Children's and Young Persons Workforce is advantageous. After the probation period we offer Level 3 qualifications (if you do not hold already). We also welcome applicants who have experience of Ofsted standards and those from education, probation, youth work/services or the care sector.
The night shift is 12 hours long 8pm – 8am.
Your hourly rate applies 8pm – 12am and 7am – 8am
Weekday sleep in rate is £40 and waking night rate is £80 12am – 7am
Weekend sleep in rate is £50 and waking night is £100 12am – 7am
For this role, we will carry out a DBS check and referencing checks as part of safer recruitment.
