Animal Care Assistant

Chatmar Pet Hotel is a busy boarding kennel and cattery.. We are now looking to increase our team and have a Vacancy for a Animal Care Assistant.

Part Time Position 16 hours per week

Week 1 Monday 8-12, Tuesday 8-5, Friday 8-12

Week 2 Tuesday 8-5, Saturday 8-12, Sunday 8-12

This is a great opportunity to join a hard working team who care for dogs and cats on a daily basis. The successful candidate must be very reliable and hardworking. Previous experience is helpful but not a must. You must be able to work on your own as well as part of the team, common sense and a true animal lover is a must, together with attention to detail. You must be confident in dealing with customers both face to face and on the telephone together with handling money. This job is by no means a walk in the park as you are on your feet all the time and the position involves a lot of cleaning. Yes you will be tired and it is not the most glamorous of jobs but you will get great job satisfaction working with a great team and animals on a daily basis. You will be required to cover extra shifts due to holidays or sickness and will include Bank Holidays and Christmas as required.
