Shift: Mon to Friday 0900 – 17.00
Summary of role:
This position will provide support to our Busy Operations Department, by processing daily import / Export shipments and ensuring documentation & customs compliance in a timely and accurate manner.
The ideal candidate must have the following:
- Handling all aspects of Imports & Exports including Customs entries
- Branch compliance to include timely system updates
- Liaising with airlines, carriers, handling agents and other freight forwarding companies
- Booking imports/exports via in-house computer system
- Need to be IT literate
- Assist Management when required & cover for colleagues in their absence
- Multimodal transport knowledge advantageous
