Position Overview & Specifications
Chaakoo is a busy and vibrant Indian restaurant, and we are opening a new branch in Edinburgh. We are currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic Duty Manager.
You will be third in charge to the General Manager to help support all operations. We will task you with maintaining high standards of service, team moral, training and health & safety practices within the restaurant and help with managing the training & development needs of your team.
We are part of the Hunky Dory Dining group and other restaurants within the group are Topolabamba and Panang.
You must have a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service and leading a team with positivity, good humour and expertise.

This is a full time position, 40+ hours pw
£10.85p/h plus tronc tips

The ideal candidate will:
· Have a good track record of management at junior level, or ready to take the next step to junior management.
· Have a passion for delivering excellent service, focused on personality not corporate steps.
· Willing to take on challenges through leadership.
· Have experience in a like for like high quality operation.
· Have shown loyalty and longevity throughout your career.
· Be driven and focused on first class standards.
· Have excellent planning and organisational skills.
· Have excellent personal presentation and be consummately professional at all times.
