HGV Class 2 Plant Lorry Driver

We are a plant hire company based between Crawley and Horsham, West Sussex. We are looking to recruit a hardworking, experienced and dedicated HGV Class 2 Lorry Driver for our family run business, delivering mini diggers, excavators and dumpers.

The perfect candidate will have experience in the construction industry and be experienced and competent with loading and unloading plant machinery. (Please do not apply unless you have experience in handling mini diggers, excavators and dumpers). The successful candidate will be required to undertake daily driving duties whilst complying with all legal obligations, company procedures and instructions and adhere to all associated Health & Safety requirements. Additional duties in the yard as required, turning machines around ready for hire, maintaining their lorry, keeping necessary records and completing necessary paperwork.

The successful candidate will be a team player with good communication and customer service skills. We offer a good rate of pay for the correct candidate.

The position is based in West Sussex and surrounding areas.; Monday to Friday 730am - 5pm.

Background and reference checks will be required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £132.50 per day

• Driving: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driver CPC (required)

• Hold a valid Digital Tacho Card (required)
