Warehouse Operative

On behalf of our client, a supplier and manufacturer of wallpaper and wall murals, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative in Hartlepool.

The Role

Your role within the business as a Warehouse Operative will be to help assist in the sample department, using machinery to assist your daily duties.

Main duties will include:

• Using a cutting machine to separate samples
• Folding samples and putting them away using a device into the correct location
• Assisting in stock taking
• Picking and Packing using a hand scanner

Hours

Any 5 out of 7 days in a week, a rota will be provided for at least 2 weeks in advance. Paid at £9.50 per hour

The ideal candidate must be able to use their own initiative once shown a task, be able to work to an appropriate speed and have a good eye for detail. Ensuring any orders that are leaving for dispatch are correct.

You must be able to travel independently to the location of work, be flexible with work days and ideally have some experience in a warehouse environment.
