Housekeeper / Cleaner - Accommodation

As a Housekeeper / Cleaner at Center Parcs, you will work in a high-performing, fast-paced environment, delighting our guests by delivering exceptional cleanliness standards to their accommodation. This will involve cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living/outside areas. Each accommodation unit is relatively compact, so once you’ve established a routine, you’ll only get quicker, meaning your 3 or 4 unit allocation will make your shift go in a flash.

Responsibilities will include:

• Dusting furniture, radiators and walls
• Vacuuming carpets and damp cleaning hard floor areas
• Cleaning kitchens, including work surfaces, ovens, hobs and fridges
• Cleaning bathrooms, including baths, wash basins, tiles and toilets
• Cleaning outside areas including patios, sweeping paths and removing cobwebs from external fascia's

The Housekeeping team is large and there will be lots of support right from the start. Initially, you’ll be buddied up with a colleague who knows more about the Center Parcs way and they’ll be on hand to answer any questions or assist with housekeeping issues as they arise. But you’ll also get lots of smiles and support from your Zone Housekeeper colleagues.

The units of accommodation are located over the whole village in a forest environment; reached by a maximum 15-minute walk or cycle.

Full training will be provided for this role.

HOURS OF WORK

This is a part-time role, working Mondays and Fridays only. Working hours are 9:45am to 4:15pm.

ABOUT YOU

You don’t need any previous experience to join us in this role, but we’ll be looking for:

• A keen eye for detail and awareness of general standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Good communication skills and the confidence to engage with both colleagues and guests
• Able to work in a physically challenging, deadline-driven environment

Desirable requirements:

• Previous experience in a cleaning role would be beneficial however full training will be provided
