KENNEL ASSISTANT

Cedar Farm Kennels and Cattery in Burringham, Scunthorpe are hiring

We are looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our dedicated, friendly team at our 5-star Council Licenced animal boarding in Burringham, near Scunthorpe. The role involves working as part of our small team looking after our boarding guests (dogs, cats and small animals) to very high standards.

Duties are varied and include;

• Dog walking
• Cleaning pet accommodation
• Pet feeds
• Poop runs
• Dog bathing
• Etc

The position averages 30 hours per week over the year, We are open from 08:00 to 19:00 (in the summer) and 08:00 to 18:00 (in the winter) and operate a "flexible shift" system over 7 days to cover these hours - which will include weekend and bank/school holiday working.

The successful applicant will be "hands on", love working with pets and be committed to providing the very best service. We are looking for someone that has a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Animal Care and Management, ideally lives locally and has their own transport.

Previous kennel, cattery experience or work in animal related sector is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
