TRAINEE IMPORT CLEARANCE CLERK

Trainee Import Clearance Clerk.

CCT Worldwide Ltd are a freight forwarding and logistics provider. We have over 35 years’ experience operating in this sector. We are currently looking to recruit a trainee freight clerk for our Colnbrook office. The role is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to start a career in freight forwarding / shipping industry and extensive training will be supplied.

Candidate profile.

A – C GCSE grade in Maths and English.

You must have strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Excellent computer skills

Customer Service oriented and determined to exceed customer’s expectations.

Duties.

Creation of job files on internal computer systems.

Input data into HMRC computer systems via multi shed system.

Customs Clearance of import and export freight at UK ports or ETSF facilities.

Creation of all shipping documentation precisely and on time.

Deal with customer and overseas partner queries.

Act as cover when required within the team.

Hours 9.00am to 5.30 pm

Salary negotiable dependent on experience.

Pension.

20 Days holiday increasing up to 25 days based on length of service
