Refrigeration Service Engineer

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join our close-knit engineering team.

Based in the Cardiff, or surrounding areas, the successful candidate will have extensive experience working with all forms of commercial refrigeration.

We will support and mentor you as an engineer to develop your commercial and industrial engineering skills, through both on-site and professional training as you require. We will ask you to outline where you wish to go within your career as an engineer, such as to work with natural refrigerants, including CO2 and hydrocarbons. We operate this way to ensure we have the best skilled and rewarded engineers in the industry.

You will also be added to a strong and well-supported on-call and standby rota.

• A 48hr basic week - to suit business needs considering your personal commitments (the minimum basic day being 9 hours).
• On-Call - On call rota is 1 call-out in 5 (1 day per week and 1 weekend in 5), with working hours between 6AM and 11PM.
• Banked Hours - You bank 10 hours per month to use above basic hours.
• Additional overtime to suit you - paid @ £27/hr

Essential:

• FGAS 2079
• 5+ minimum years' experience

Desirable:

• City and Guilds Level 2 and 3 in refrigeration and air conditioning
• 19th edition electrical installations
• IPAF
• PASMA
• CSCS
• Hydrocarbons
• CO2

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £45,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
