Operations Projects Associate

Catalent Pharma Solutions are looking for a Operations Projects Associate to join the team at our Swindon site.

The position of Operations Projects Associate is responsible for managing a range of process improvement projects within the Operations department.

This position will also work closely with the production engineering and Technical engineering teams to identify and implement engineering/technical improvements to ensure the optimization of the manufacturing process and the realization of the site’s deliverable efficiencies.

The Role

• Responsible for overall project knowledge and execution according to agreed upon deliverables and timeline.

• Lead and build cross-functional project teams comprising of representatives from relevant functions.

• Utilise company Project Management Methodology tools and templates to manage project

• Track progress of project activities, ensure key project milestones agreed upon with customers are achieved, and ensure program proceeds based on the agreed upon timeline

• Maintain ’overall picture’ of the project and provide/negotiate resolution to potential issues internally to prevent delay to project timeline.

• Evaluate, highlight and escalate unresolved issues and potential barriers to project progression to relevant Managers.

• Ensure total team preparedness before customer interface sessions

• Discuss any changes in the customer quoted program of activities with internal; team members and business development, communicate to the customer and ensure that the changes are fully documented.

• Good Communication skills

• Knowledge of Zydis product and processes are preferable

• Attention to detail

• Ability to build working relationships across all levels and departments with site

• Ability to work independently

• Knowledge and understanding of Project Management Tools and processes
