Packing and Despatch Operative

We are currently looking to add to our busy packing and despatch team based in Hirwaun, Aberdare. Whilst no experience is necessary as we will provide food safety and quality training and any other training that will be specific to the job. Counterbalance Forklift Truck license would be a bonus but is not essential.

As a packing and despatch team member you will be:

• Picking mixed pallet orders from customer order sheets
• Packing finished products into cases ready for despatch to various customers
• Maintaining high hygiene levels and keeping a tidy workspace
• Maintaining records and logs
• Conducting quality checks to ensure that our standards are met
• Flagging any issues with the equipment within your area

Our ideal candidate will have:

• High attention to detail and a strong quality focus
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work in temperature-controlled areas
• Ability to lift no more than 15 kilos
• A positive approach to work
• A desire to develop their skills and work as part of a team

This is full time position working Monday to Friday starting at 06.00. Your finish time will be dependent on workload but is generally between 14.00 and 16:00. A competitive salary is offered dependent on experience.
