Position Overview & Specifications

Cloud Transformation – Test Engineer


Functional Requirement –
  • Proven expertise in operating model design for Cloud, with a good understanding of NFV, Cloud Native and SDN technology as well as 5G Core and emerging technology trends.
  • Public and Private Cloud platform experience in a Hybrid or Multi Cloud environment, Telco Cloud Environments.
  • Good Experience over the process of moving the work or organisation to the Cloud to improve business operations, profitability, and resilience.
  • Good Experience over Test Strategy preparation, Test Planning & Test Execution.


Technical Requirement –
  • Good Knowledge on multiple cloud models (telco, private, public).
  • Hands On knowledge over Ericsson Telco Cloud is preferable.
  • Knowledge & Hands On over operational stages (build, deployment and life cycle).
  • Deep knowledge and exposure on Cloud infrastructure from:
  • Technology perspective (Openstack/K8s distro, containers, cloud native design), and industry standards perspective (ETSI NFV, OPNFV, ONAP).
  • Background and experience on at least one of the following network domains: 5G Core, EPC, IMS.
  • Operational exposure to at least one of the following areas: O&M, NOC or network planning.
  • Understanding of telecom industry standards 3GPP.
  • Broad IT Infrastructure and Connectivity experience covering networking, storage, servers and databases.
  • End to End Technical Understanding and Good with technical trouble shooting.
  • Perform testing, scripting, and coding related to BAU tasks automation

  • Excellent Communication, interpersonal skills.
  • Good Customer handling experience.
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  • Good team player and ability to lead the team.
  • Self-Motivated, ability to learn quickly.
  • Good Documentation, writing & Presentation Skills.


Educational Qualification –
Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Engineering
