Canon UK & Ireland are looking for a Credit Analyst Support Specialist to join the Finance Team. Based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.

Credit Analyst Support Specialist (CASS) team is part of Credit Control department.

The CASS team has an important part in Sales, Credit and Risk Management Process.

This is a key role within the team which will provide the successful applicant with a wide range of experience

The key responsibilities consist of:


  • Performing credit checks on new and existing customers. Follow process and procedure to release the orders on hold.


  • Review ad-hoc and periodic credit limit applications by performing credit checks. Analyse and assess the financial statements, credit history and payment behaviour of existing and potential customers. Review and assign appropriate credit limits.


  • Perform risk assessments on customers, for high value orders. Ability to make informed decisions backed by external/internal credit history with sound assessment.


  • Consult and negotiate with clients and internal stakeholders regarding payment methods, payment terms, and credit limits. Follow-up relevant approval process.


  • Ability to handle multiple requests and submit credit limit and payment terms applications on time. Ensure all approved applications comply with credit policy and the approval matrix.


  • Always look for and communicate improved ways of your daily activities. Build and maintain a strong stakeholder network to share credit risk expertise and insight across the organisation.


  • Produce standard and ad-hoc business reports for team, upper management, and executives. Support managers on month end reporting.


  • Perform SOX controls to ensure all controls are being performed and documented to the required standard, these include bad debt, credit limit, order holds, write off and refunds.


  • Responsible of admin duties related to banking - Direct Debit and Cheques


  • Maintain customer master data. Coordinate and manage changes/updates with relevant departments


  • Assist on any ad-hoc tasks and projects as required by the department

Salary – £25,000 - £27,000 plus 5% performance bonus
