A General Assistant will work in all departments including housekeeping. We’re looking for a motivated, hardworking individual, who has a keen eye for detail. You’ll have the ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting the highest standards.

As a General Assistant you will be involved in duties such as:

* Implementing & respecting chain's standard operation procedures

* Dealing with guests in person and on the telephone

* Cleaning rooms and public areas

* Participate in the opening and closing of the hotel

* Ensuring guest safety at all times

Knowledge and skills required:

* Basic knowledge of hospitality/customer service environment

* Able to work as a member of a team but also able to use own initiative

Expertise (job-knowledge, technical skills)

* Ability to understand and follow guidelines

* Knowledge of health & safety procedures

* Basic housekeeping and customer service technical skills

We are looking for a dynamic General Assistant to join our team, who will work primarily in the Housekeeping and Food and Beverage departments, but the position will also include basic reception duties. Experience is preferred in a customer service environment, however full training will be given. The position will include a variety of shifts which could include weekdays, weekends, mornings and evenings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £9.50 per hour
