HGV Road sweeper Driver

Caledonian are looking to recruit new sweeper drivers to join a growing business. Candidates must have a valid Class 2 HGV licence and drivers CPC. The business has a number of new trucks arriving in 2023 and is looking to add new drivers to the team in a number of different areas:

Edinburgh, Glasgow and from our head office in Linlithgow

Successful candidates will have a good work ethic and a good mechanical knowledge. The job will require long hours working primarily within the building industry cleaning construction sites. Drivers must be able to take instruction from clients working with a number of different customers each week.

Drivers will be required to carry out daily safety checks, routine maintenance, like greasing and cleaning of your truck and also change road brushes as they wear out. On the job training can be provided

There is regular overtime and weekend working

The Ideal candidate will have some road sweeper experience but this is not essential.

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
