Position Overview & Specifications
The successful applicant will be part of an ever-growing Management Team at one of North England’s largest privately-owned scaffolding firms. Typical day to day duties will include:
- Management of scaffolders (usually an allocated number on site in a set area)
- Carrying out Harness; Lanyard and Step inspections
- Liaising with Clients and Customers on site
- Preparing Load Lists for upcoming works
- Managing several active sites/projects and keeping track of the current materials erected and stored on site.
- Contract cost control and management vs budget. Including various areas such as scaffolders / labour / transport / contract expenses /stock management etc
- Ensuring that all operations and duties are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with health and safety legislation / company procedures. Health and Safety of all personnel on site is paramount and it is the role of the Supervisor to monitor this.
- Needs to be competent on Microsoft and Google drive.
- Must have can do attitude.
Essential Applicant Qualities:
- Have an in-depth knowledge of the Scaffolding Industry
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be familiar in reading and working to Scaffolding Design Drawings
- Have a full UK Drivers Licence
- Experience of sending and receiving email communications
- Must reside in or around Yorkshire / North-West (NO ACCOMMODATION PAID)
- Valid CISRS Scaffolder card
- Valid CISRS Scaffold Supervisor card
- Valid CISRS Basic SITS card
