Pet Sitter

We are a dog training and walking business looking for a dog sitter to join our small team.

The role of pet sitter includes staying in peoples houses and looking after their dogs whilst they are away, following instructions of the owners. You will need to be dedicated, hard-working and comfortable working alone. This job is a 0 hour contract designed to allow flexibility for the ideal candidate to accept only the jobs that they can take on.

This position will require you to stay at the dog's home for 24 hours however you can leave the dog alone for up to 4-5 hours twice a day during our normal service and up to 2 hours twice a day for our upgraded service. Pay rate is explained below -

Normal service (2.5 hours of work)

Upgraded service (4 hours of work)

Premium service (6 hours of work)

Previous expereince of working with animals or possess an animal qualification/working towards is essential. Access to own transport desirable but not essential. Upon acceptance to this role you will be required to undertake a DBS check at your own cost.

We will also require 15-20 hours of voluntary work at our daycare, dog walking or training classes prior to your first pet sit to ensure you are capable and trustworthy of staying at another person's home looking after their pets.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Salary: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
