Job Description:
We are a busy law firm in East Kilbride seeking an experienced receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the reception area, answering phone calls, greeting clients, and providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
Responsibilities:
· Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate person or department
· Greeting clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
· Managing the reception area and maintaining a clean and organised workspace
· Scheduling appointments and maintaining the firm's appointment calendar
· Filing and organising legal documents and paperwork
· Assisting with general administrative tasks such as photocopying, faxing, and scanning documents
· Ensuring all office equipment is in good working order and arranging for repairs or maintenance as necessary
· Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory
· Assisting other staff members as needed
Requirements:
· Minimum of two years of experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
· Strong organisational and time-management skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills
· Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures preferred
· Professional and friendly demeanour
