Market Stall Worker

Candidates will be allocated one of our street market trading stalls and be required to complete daily tasks:

• Setting up of gazebo, table and displaying our chocolate brownies and blondies
• Serving customers and processing card sales only on the stall, involving bagging of individual portions that the customer has bought, cutting products into sampler sizes and answering any dietary questions about our products
• Packing down and transferring all market stall items into a booked car and storing at our self-store unit, ready for trading the next day
• Potential assitance on other market stalls in other locations during busy periods

Candidates will be expected to interact with Customers on a daily basis. Candidates will be expected to assist in the completion of daily checks and the compliance monitoring of food safety. Candidate will have to be licensed with the local council, requiring the submission of proof of identity, National Insurance and a passport style photo.

Food Safety and Hygiene (Catering) Level 2 - desirable

Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) - desirable

EXPERIENCE: • Customer-facing experience and excellent customer service skills are imperative for this role • Candidates should be adaptable, with a good understanding of health and safety and compliance monitoring.
