Working as a key member of the Garden and Grounds Team, supervising the team and undertaking various landscaping duties. our goal is to maintain all of the green spaces in a well – kept manner for the benefit of our customers and business as a whole.

We are looking for someone with the knowledge and experience of plants from summer bedding to perennials, who knows the difference between a weed and an emerging plant. Someone with an eye for colour and contrast and a passion for the environment and how we can improve it.

A good understanding of horticultural and environmental practices is important. Experience in the use of ride on machinery preferred as duties involve the grass cutting on our holiday resort and Golf Course. Experience in the use of strimmers would be beneficial.

Skills Required:

· Full UK Driving Licence

· Ideally knowledge and experience in Garden and Grounds maintenance.

· Good understanding of planting schedules

· Previous experience using machinery/HGV/Tractors/Excavators would be highly beneficial

· Hedge, shrub and tree cutting, planting and seeding experience desirable

· Knowledge of health & safety and safe site working practices

· Experience of manual outdoor work

· Strong communication skills

This is a permanent position, working full time hours. Your working week will generally be Monday to Friday, however occasional weekend working may be required. Start and Finish times will depend on the seasons
