Videographer & Creative Content Producer

Job Description

As brain feed’s Videographer and Creative Content Producer you will be responsible for working closely with our marketing team. You will manage;

· Pre-production - ideation, concept origination, art direction, treatment and storyboarding

· Directing & producing – filming, lighting and sound

· Post-production – editing and combining text, audio, animation, stills and video to create impactful content

· High-quality multi-media content (video, photos and audio) for use across multiple digital platforms.

· Day-to-day - you’ll be capturing video content for a range of platforms including, Social (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook & Pinterest), online ads, e-Commerce, in-store video displays and tradeshows.

Projects will be hugely varied and involve filming promo videos, new product launches, Q&A’s with leading nutritionists, in-store activity at our retailer partners, behind the scenes content and travelling back-to-source to tell the story of our natural ingredients.

Who You Are

· First and foremost, you are an exceptional visual storyteller who has a track record of creating memorable visual experiences that connect and engage with customers.

· You are looking to breakout from campaign led agency activity into a career opportunity that allows you to shape the direction of travel for a consumer brand.

· You have 2/3 years of agency experience with a strong portfolio of working on consumer brands

· Extensive experience in developing, planning and delivering multi-media content.

· Highly experienced in operating video cameras and DSLRs

· Good knowledge of Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects or similar

· Creation of motion graphics and animation

· Strong eye for graphic design, creative output and photography.

· Obsessive eye for detail.

· Thrive on the ownership of critical projects

· Passionate interest in nutrition, brain health and brain performance

· Would be excited to work in a rapidly scaling business.

1st year salary

£26,000 per annum. Bonus Scheme.

Requirements

1. studied a BA/MA in a Video Production, Film production, Video Editing, Digital Media production or similar.

2. Must have had at least 2 years agency experience

3. Must be interested in brain health & brain performance, biohacking and/or nootropics

4. Must be eligible to live and work in the UK

Skills [required]

· Exceptionally strong communication skills

· Video editing: 3 years work experience

· Content Creation: 3 years work experience

· Adobe Creative Suite: 3 years work experience

· Camera Operation: 3 years work experience

· End-to-End Video Production: 3 years

· Motion graphics – transitions, branding & animations; 3 years

· Audio: 3 years work experience

· Experience of 3 Point Lighting

· Experience of Green Screen Lighting

Progression

As brain feed continues to scale, the moving image requirements will take the brand from social media videos, online video ads and in-store screens to eventually TV advertising.

There is no ceiling on your progression to Head of Video or even Creative Director in the next 3-5 years. It will be entirely dependent on your adaptability, desire and teamworking. In doing so you will become the bastion of the brand responsible for shaping the future look and feel, TOV and brand guidelines for motion pictures. Progression will require;

· Building out a full in-house creative team.

· Managing designers, copywriters, video editors and creatives

· the production of award-winning creative on a consistent basis.

Normal office hours of 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday. Flexible hours are available. Subject to prior agreement with brain feed ltd.

On occasions, the business will have scenarios that crop up outside of these hours such as travel to/from London so it is likely there will be days when you’ll need to put in extra time or work outside of normal working hours. We know that not everyone fits the mould of working set hours and that awesome people will always deliver results.
