Position Overview & Specifications

Site Supervisor

Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Cambridge

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will involve:

The site supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of solar farm construction operations, including personnel safety, oversee daily work activities, managing multiple subcontractors, review work schedules, scheduling maintenance of site offices, maintaining project availability, the training and safety of all technicians, and communicating with the management team.

In addition, the site supervisor is responsible for establishing site and individual goals, adhering to the site budget, including disciplinary actions, annual reviews, and act as role model in field environment to ensure all procedures are followed as required.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience, and qualifications:

Essential:

  • Previous experience working in the Solar PV renewable energy industry
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Experience of Cat & Genny
  • Some computer experience required, creating spreadsheets and reports using MS Office packages

Desirable:

  • Experience working with current solar technology preferred
  • SMSTS / SSSTS / First Aid certificates
  • Electrical / mechanical qualifications
