Graphic Designer

Borthwick Group is a family-oriented business that provides energy-saving measures to homeowners through the ECO 4 scheme. Our offerings include free boiler replacements, cavity wall insulation, solar panels, and more.

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective designs for a wide range of marketing materials, including brochures, websites and social media graphics.. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory, as well as the ability to work within branding guidelines and incorporate feedback from team members and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop design concepts and present to internal teams
• Create graphics and visual elements for use in a variety of marketing materials
• Collaborate with copywriters, photographers, and other team members to ensure cohesive and effective designs
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new design techniques into work
• Ensure that designs are executed with high attention to detail and quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
• 2-3 years of professional experience in graphic design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design skills and techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Desired Skills

• Experience with motion graphics and video editing
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS (Not essential as training can be provided)
• Ability to design for both print and digital media
• Understanding of branding and corporate identity design
• Ability to take design projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision
