Facilities Electrician

The role

The Facilities Electrician is responsible for delivering the day-to-day facilities services across the Boohoo Burnley Distribution Campus and ensuring all departments are operating efficiently across all sites. The key focus for this role is to ensure that all services are delivered in a confident efficient and timely manner and that conforms to any Regulatory requirements from an External body and comply with any Internal Policy & Procedures.

What you’ll be doing

• Carry out site electrical maintenance of related equipment around the Burnley distribution centre
• Support of all audit requirements
• Support of statutory equipment testing
• Respond promptly to all requirements and carry out your duties in a professional and courteous manner
• Carry out & complete any allocated Help Desk Requests within the set time frames
• Ensure areas are kept clear of any obstructive and unnecessary materials
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, site rules and regulations.
• Comply with all company procedures relating to Health & Safety & safe working
  practices.
• Attend training sessions as and when required.
• Represent the Company in all you do

About you

• Appropriate Electrical Technical Qualifications
• Apprentice Trained with at least 2 years' post apprenticeship experience.
• NVQ3 / AM2 or equivalent standard achieved
• 2391 Testing & Inspection experience
• Industrial/ commercial Installation experience
• Experience with 3-Phase equipment
• Pat testing
• HVAC experience (Desirable)
• 18th edition qualified
• Working at height/Ladder certified
• MEWP Certified (Desirable)
• Ability to read Electrical Drawings
• CMMS awareness. Agility. (Desirable)
• Health, Safety and Environmental understanding
• Results-oriented
• Proactive approach
• Flexibility
• Adaptability
• Team Player
• Strong Maintenance and PPM skills and experience
• Service orientated attitude combined with innovative thinking
• Dedicated team player within a fast-moving service operation
• Knowledge and awareness of the facilities industry
• Full Driving License
• Computer skills – able to use Microsoft Office
• Be self-motivated and can work under pressure
• Communicate effectively with a wide range of Contractors and multi-service team personnel
