What is the purpose of the role?

The role of Community Development Officer is to deliver a range of community projects and initiatives, improving the support interventions and working in partnership to actively engage customers within their communities. The role is also active in securing funding and acting as a facilitator to deliver initiatives.

The role is important in actively supporting customers to participate in community projects and initiatives to improve their lives and promote social value and inclusion within Bolton helping to create vibrant and sustainable communities.
