Production Operative/Machine Operator

A Family run company specialising in the manufacture, distribution of wood components to the furniture industry. We are a friendly, dynamic and ambitious group that is constantly evolving. Formed in 2007, the company is now seeking to recruit for a several production operatives

Due to an increase in customer orders we are currently seeking manufacturing/production operatives based in Featherstone

About the role

The role will involve the manufacturing of product in a busy, fast paced production environment

Machine setting/operating

Feeding/Heavy lifting

You will carry out such reasonable ad hoc duties as and when required.

Adhere to all health and safety procedures

Desired skills

Previous experience working within a manufacturing/ engineering environment and have some experience operating machinery, although training can be provided for the right candidates with a willingness to learn.

You must be able to work effectively under your initiative and be able to work under pressure to deadlines whilst having a keen eye for detail and ensuring the quality of work produced is of the highest standard.

Fork lift truck counterbalance license is advantageous but not essential

We are looking for strong team players who are hard working and dedicated.

Salary Starting at £11.75 per hour

Monday – Thursday 06.00 – 15.45

Monday – Thursday 15.45 – 01.30
