We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Administrator to join our customer service team at our Head Office in Basingstoke.
The role:
As Logistics Administrator you will provide administrative and customer service support, relating to the import and export of goods and processing of Customs entries.
Key duties:
- Managing Customer Logistical Order fulfilment process.
- Creation of Internal and External Customer Pick Lists for Warehouse.
- Liaising daily with warehouse, sales, planning, supply chain, finance and other departments where necessary.
- Arranging internal and external Customers’ shipments with Logistics Service Providers, monitor and manage to ensure OTIF is achieved.
- Preparing Shipment and Export Documentation to meet all country compliance and customer requirements for UK / Europe and ROW shipments.
- Audit all import and export customs documentation per shipment to ensure full compliance
- Issue Import Customs clearances and maintain all relevant compliance records per entry for business audit purposes, to include import log and Compliance import documents
To be considered for this Logistics Administrator opportunity, you will have the following:
Essential skills
- Educated to GCSE level in Maths, English and Science
- Computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office
- Proven import/export experience
- Commodity Code experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- High attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Negotiation skills
