HGV Class 1 Driver

As London's largest independent bio-recycling company we are always expanding our services and currently require an excellent Class 1 vehicle driver to join our team in Mitcham. Our teams provide award-winning recycling services using custom, CNG powered vehicles to a wide range of businesses across the Greater London area, helping them to reduce their environmental footprint.

You will be providing collections to our clients across London whilst maintaining the high standards of service our customers expect.

You should be reliable, proactive in your approach to getting a service completed and able to work independently. Full training will be given however previous recycling/waste industry experience would be a benefit.

You will be responsible for daily vehicle checks, route planning and reporting back to the Transport Manager/Supervisor of any issues, along with collection of commercial food waste in various forms (bins, tankers, RORO etc)

Hours: Early AM start - Mon-Fri + alternate Saturday shorter shift (one on/one off) - Overtime is available and paid at Time + 1/3.

Requirements: Class 1 License, Digi-TACHO, CPC, UK Resident.

Salary: £18.00/hour + monthly/Quarterly Ops bonus (£2000/pa)

Experience:

• Driving: 1 year (preferred)

• Digital Tacho (preferred)
