Business IT Analyst

As a Data Analyst you will lead the work on the development of high-quality management information through the development of Power BI and other bespoke software solutions and assist in the delivery of projects by providing expert advice on assigned projects. An ideal candidate for this role would be personable and able to build good working relationships with clients at all working levels. Clear communication of technical concepts to a non-technical audience is critical.

What can you expect from this job?

• Collaboration with the business & customers to understand their data requirements and provide them with valuable insights using Power BI.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards and apps using Power BI.
• Communicate data findings and insights to clients in a clear and concise manner.
• Conduct data cleaning and maintenance of data sets to drive business intelligence.
• Continuously improve data analysis processes and techniques to increase efficiency and quality of work.
• You will be responsible in assisting reporting requirements and technical information to future business projects.

Technical expertise and skills

• Knowledge of SQL and Python required for data processing.
• Strong understanding of Power BI development/data processing & dashboards
• Demonstrated experience working in data science, business intelligence or data analytics roles.
• Strong skills in Excel and other analytic packages
• Fluent technical report writing
• Confident at presenting ideas and concepts to senior level audiences
• Analytical approach to problem solving.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Meticulous attention to detail with excellent written and oral communication.
